As part of the nationwide commemoration of America’s 250th anniversary, the exhibit invites visitors to use handheld “HistoPad” tablets that employ technology to create an immersive, time-travel experience. More than 20 Revolutionary-era scenes come to life, including the Boston Tea Party, the Battle of Yorktown, the signing of the Declaration of Independence and a Carolinas-focused gallery highlighting regional Revolutionary War history.
